Pepperell Wire Core Candle Wicks are made with tubular braid. These wicks are manufactured with 100% cotton and wire. Different wax blends will generate different performance standards with the same wick. Test a wick or wicks in the actual wax mix you will be using. Melt points, fragrance, dyes, container heat retention or lack of heat retention WILL effect the burn rate. These wicks burn clean and have a steady flame. Use cotton wicking for taper and pillar candles and use wire core for votive, sand and container candles. Use Gelwick‚Ñ¢ for all Gel candle. Medium 8' Natural- For candles 2"-4" in diameter.
