Gel Medium-8 OZ

Generation Green Gel Medium is thick and white but dries clear. Gel Medium retains a texture when dry.. It can be used as a sealer over dyes, inks, paints, etc.

You can use it for texture over paper or on paintings. Apply with a brush, foam brush, pallet knife, trowel or even with fingers. Mix in metallics, colorants and/or dyes.

It can also be used on clothing and textiles, with a stencil and/or painted on.

Machine washable.

It can be used on glass and is beautiful when our Colorant is added to it and/or one of our Shimmer products are layered over the top of it.

Generation Green's newest use for Gel Medium is applying it on the Photo Extension on Canvas surface. It is used to build up the paper that has been decoupaged to the canvas to make an even flow or extension from the edge of the paper to the canvas.

Gel Medium is also used here to create brush strokes over the image and out to the edge of the canvas, creating an overall oil painted look. Fun and easy to use.

Directions for Use:

On canvas apply a thick coat to simulate brush strokes. On fabric, paint using colored Gel Medium freehand or with a stencil. To color, add a drop of Colorant or Shimmer and mix or add metallic pigment. To protect project, use one of Generation Green Varnishes.
