This new line of hardboard panels from Jack Richeson is a versatile option for any artist! Made from high density, smooth hardboard with a solid fiber core, these 1/8" thick panels are durable and warp-resistant. To make the panels even stronger, they are tempered by thinly coating them in linseed oil, then baking for durability. The tempering process makes these panels harder, more rigid, more water resistant, and increases their tensile strength. To use, prime with any ground you wish — acrylic gesso, oil ground, pastel primer, silverpoint ground — and paint or draw however you like.
