From the J. Herbin 1670 Anniversary ink collection, Caroube de Chypre ink features a beautiful deep brown color with a hint of red that is infused with gold specks. Unmatched by other brown inks, each 50ml bottle is hand dipped in sealing wax and stamped with a 1670 seal on the front before being enclosed in a collector edition box. Inspired by the fruit of carob trees that have been cultivated in the Mediterranean since ancient times, carob pods were said to be a favorite of J. Herbin and other sailing merchants.
