Pochade (from the French poche: pocket) boxes are made for the plein air artist. Our pochade art boxes are smaller, therefore lighter weight than traditional sketch box easels. The smaller, lighter weight boxes are easy to carry in a back pack or tote bag, and they're a cinch to set up with our tripod easels. Each box includes a brush tray that can also be used as a mixing palette. The longer/narrow box is excellent for the oil or acrylic painter as the length of the box allows storage of long handled brushes. Our Art Advantage Pochade Boxes are crafted of beech wood and made exclusively for Art Advantage. Fitted with adaptor to attach to the ART-E223 or ART-E224 tripod easels. Minimum canvas height: 3".
